| Need a suggestion for a book? There are so many great books to choose from that sometimes it's helpful to have a suggestion or two.
Following are some of our favorite books grouped by estimated reader level; however, some books span a much broader age range than we've allowed for here, which is why we have included the plus sign ("+") for each age grouping. Some books are best read aloud to children while, in other instances, children may do well reading independently with parent availability for reading help and content discussion. Books that some children may find include particularly scary elements are marked with an asterisk ("*").
